Nhan H Nguyen, MD, JD, MSF
For over eight years, Dr. Nguyen has been successfully providing legal, business, and financial advisory and strategic services to health care entities, physicians, and business clients. Working primarily in complex business transactions, Dr. Nguyen carries a truly unique perspective in understanding business needs and applying his expertise in medicine, law and business to the benefit of his clients. From basic practice formation to more complex health care business transactions or technologies, Dr. Nguyen consistently seeks to provide his clients optimized solutions to meet their business needs and mitigate business and personal risks. His knowledge and experiences are derived as a business owner, entrepreneur, financier, and facilitator.
Dr. Nguyen earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, after graduating magna cum laude and phi beta kappa from Baylor University with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center with a focus on intellectual property and health care law & policy. Dr. Nguyen also completed a Master's of Science in Finance at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business, where he served as a Security Analyst and Senior Portfolio Manager for the UH Cougar Fund.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship and is a Technology Champion with the Houston Technology Center. Dr. Nguyen serves as a Judge for Rice University's Southwest Business Plan Competition; and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Dubuis Health System, Dubuis Hospital of St. Louis, and on UT Southwestern Medical School's Alumni Board of Trustees. He also participates in the Biomedical & Technology Club, American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and the Texas Center for Legal Ethics.
